On February 20, 2009 several members of the student success committee traveled to St. Simon Island to present a poster presentation at the Annual Georgia Association of Nursing Educators Conference. The poster presentation won first place among the many submissions.
The purpose of the Columbus State University student success program is to decrease attrition rates within the baccalaureate nursing program through assessment and mentoring of students and implementing evidence-based interventions to increase student retention, progression and graduation.
