§ Now required for admission to nursing program
§ Begins with applicants for class of Fall 2008
§ May take exam only ONCE per year (twice in a 5 year period)
§ Exam results due to Nursing Office no later than May 31 of year student is applying for admission to program.
§ Evolve Reach A-2 Test (by Elsevier)
o Administered by CSU Testing Center, Pre-registration required – Phone 706-507-8020
o Exam dates begin January 2008
o Exam offered twice monthly Jan-May 2008
o Contact Testing Center for calendar & procedures
o Fee $ 50.00 (includes proctor fee) - pay to Testing Center
§ Format: Online, proctored and timed exam (4 hours)
§ Evolve Reach A2 Test includes:
o Math, Reading, Vocabulary, Grammar (scores used as part of nursing admission criteria)
o Chemistry, Biology, A&P (scores NOT used as part of nursing admission criteria)
o Learning Styles (scores NOT used as nursing admission criteria --- used in Student Success Program after admission)
