School of Nursing Admission Process

• Apply to CSU for admission and declare pre-nursing as your major. You can apply online at http://www.colstate.edu/future/apply/
• Request all your college transcripts to be sent to the CSU registrar's office for evaluation.
• Once you receive an acceptance letter to Columbus State University from the admission office, please call 706-565-3649 to schedule an appointment with a nursing advisor.
• Acceptance to CSU is not acceptance into the School of Nursing. There is a separate nursing application that must be completed.
• The nursing program application will be given to qualified applicants and can only be obtained by scheduling an advising appointment with a nursing advisor.
• Nursing program applications are typically available by mid November.
• Deadline to turn in the nursing application to the School of Nursing for Fall 2010 will be March 31, 2010.
• Recommendation letters are due in the nursing office by March 31, 2010.
• Contact the CSU Testing Center at 706-507-8020 to schedule your A2 Entrance Exam. The last day to take this exam for the fall 2010 class has not been determined yet.
• The next class will be selected by the end of May 2010. Students that have applied to our program will be notified in writing if they were selected. We accept 90 students each fall semester.
